[An 80 hours training course supported by Energy Market Authority (EMA)]

This course covers the current technical and safety requirements for Town Gas and Natural Gas Utilisation work. It is a mandatory requirement for a Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering who is interested in becoming a Licensed Gas Service Worker.

Participants will acquire the necessary technical and safety knowledge for good town gas and natural gas utilisation practices. Successful completion of this Gas Technology course is one of the requirements stipulated by EMA for any course participant who wishes to be a Licensed Gas Service Worker (LGSW).

Course participants who have successfully completed this course may proceed to apply for a Gas Service Worker Licence with Energy Market Authority (EMA) upon satisfying EMA’s requirements.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Participants who have attended at least 75% of the training sessions and passed the written test and the practical test at the end of the course will be issued with the Certificate of Successful Completion (CSC).

(Application forms must be accompanied by course fee)

*Skills Development Fund (SDF) is available for this course. Prior to the registration, company is required to enrol their staff (Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident) through SSG’s SkillsConnect system at Eligible applicants pay the remaining fee (after deducting SDF Funding) and GST.

# Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy
- Eligible for Singaporean aged 40 and above only
- Individual applicant shall submit completed application form, last 3 month’s pay slips, and payment together with NRIC for verification at BCA Academy
- Applicant will be required to sign a declaration for the subsidy

Note: Course applicants may be eligible to receive course fee funding from government agencies subject to terms and conditions. If the applicant fails to fulfil the terms and conditions of the funding such that BCA Academy (BCAA) is unable to claim the funded portion of the course fee from the funding agency, the participant will be required to pay BCAA the funded portion of course fee that is no longer claimable by BCAA.
