One of the major concerns of project managers at construction sites is how to improve productivity of workers and machines. In a tight labour situation, the emphasis is on using more and better machines to raise productivity. This probably explains why the telescopic handler is one of the machines widely used at construction sites.
The Ministry of Manpower requires contractors to ensure that all operators of construction machines have received sufficient training and are competent to operate the machine. In addition, training records of such workers must be available for inspection by a factory inspector.
This course aims to equip both new and inexperienced workers with the knowledge and skills on the safe operation and basic maintenance of the telescopic handler.
