Supervise Construction Work for WSH
(Also known as Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course - BCSS)

This is a mandatory training course for individuals who are assigned to undertake the role of a supervisor in the construction industry. Workplace Safety and Health (Construction) Regulations 2007 Reg. 9 (2b) stipulates that no person shall be employed to oversee or supervise any work or process carried out in a worksite unless the person has received adequate safety and health training for the purpose of ensuring that such work or process can be carried out safely. This course would be appropriate for individuals who are construction site supervisors & foreman, RTOs and site engineers.

At the end of the course, the participant should be familiar with:-
a) The safety hazards in the construction industry; and
b) The preventive measures for safe work.

 Available in English and  Mandarin.


Schedule: To be confirmed
Duration:   32 hours (11 evenings or 4 days)
(Lessons: 28 hours / Assessment: 4 hours)
Time:       2 evenings per week
               (6.30pm to 9.30pm) or
               4 days (8.30am to 5.30pm)

                      $181.12 (with SDF Subsidy*)
                      $54.02 (with Enhance Funding for SME*)
                      $54.02 (with Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy
                      for self-sponsored applicant#)

*Skills Development Fund (SDF) is available for this course. Prior to the registration, company is required to enrol their staff (Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident) through SSG’s SkillsConnect system at Eligible applicants pay the remaining fee (after deducting SDF Funding) and GST.

# Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy
- Eligible for Singaporean aged 40 and above only
- Individual applicant shall submit completed application form, last 3 month’s pay slips, and payment together with NRIC for verification at BCA Academy
- Applicant will be required to sign a declaration for the subsidy

Note: Course applicants may be eligible to receive course fee funding from government agencies subject to terms and conditions. If the applicant fails to fulfil the terms and conditions of the funding such that BCA Academy (BCAA) is unable to claim the funded portion of the course fee from the funding agency, the participant will be required to pay BCAA the funded portion of course fee that is no longer claimable by BCAA.
