OVERVIEW
The “Good Industry Practices - Painting” was developed to highlight good painting practices adopted by practitioners and to raise awareness of the different paint systems, the selection criteria and application processes. This course complements the guidebook, by providing practical suggestions on how good quality painting can be achieved on site. Common defects associated with paints, their causes and preventive measures are also covered in this course.
OBJECTIVES
This course aims to provide participants with
• a good understanding on the design issues relating to painting.
• practical tips and suggestions on achieving good painting works, including preparatory works, actual application of painting and protection of completed works; and
• a good understanding of common defects and how to prevent and rectify them.

TRAINER / LECTURER
MS LYNN LEE, Senior Manager, Nippon Paint (S) Pte Ltd
Ms Lynn Lee has more than 20 years of experience on painting products in the construction industry. She spearheaded in compiling Good Painting Practice book for Nippon Paint and lead the Project Department in procuring painting contracts. Lynn is an experienced trainer has conducted training for both new and existing employees.
