The Build Smart Conference provides a platform for practitioners from different disciplines to gain insights of overseas and local advancement towards construction productivity, its technologies, processes and concepts, business case, as well as exemplary projects. Launched in 2011, the 2-day Build Smart Conference has been a key event of the annual Singapore Construction Productivity Week (SCPW), which is an industry-wide campaign to raise awareness in enhancing construction productivity.


CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS
The first day of the conference focuses on the various aspects of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA), namely Mass Engineered Timber construction & Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC). Innovative Technologies, and productive Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) system and methodologies will also be covered. On Day 2, the conference centres on topics such as Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Internet of Things (IoT).
