Built Environment and Property Prospects Seminar 2019

Event code: 78031

14 January 2019 • 9.30am - 5.00pm • Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel

By 2030, the United Nations predicts that cities will house 60% of people globally1, and one in every three people will live in cities with at least half a million inhabitants. As Asian cities continues to experience growth at a rapid rate, indeed there is a significant opportunity to build infrastructure needed to accommodate this growth. Yet, we are seeing surmounting economic challenges as well as tensions between major trade relationships around the world.

Closer to home, how will the built environment in Singapore perform in 2019? What are the opportunities, challenges and prospects for the Singapore built environment? How should companies prepare themselves during such unpredictable times? What should built environment firms look out for locally and beyond Singapore? Once again, we bring together prominent economist, policy makers and industry experts to address these burning questions at this annual flagship event.

1 World Urbanisation Prospects 2018, United Nations, Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
