OVERVIEW
This course will deepen participants’ competencies in procurement planning and management, enabling them to plan and manage various procurement strategies, from sourcing to purchasing of construction goods and services, to meet project expectations. Collaborative procurement mechanisms such as Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), Collaborative Bidding and other private sector procurement initiatives to promote collaborative procurement will be covered.
OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this module, students are able to:
- Understand and describe the various procurement planning and management techniques.
- Understand and apply the concepts of Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), Collaborative Bidding, and other procurement initiatives that promotes collaboration and early project involvement.

ASSESSMENT & AWARD
Candidates who have successfully obtained CSCs for the five courses and pass the overall project assignment within the maximum allowable candidature of 3 years will be awarded the Specialist Diploma in Integrated Project Management (SDIPM).

BE professionals who wish to be equipped with the skills and competencies to take on project management roles such as Project Managers, Project Management Executives or Construction Management Engineers.
