[Singapore, October 18, 2023] – In a significant move towards advancing education in the Built Environment (BE) sector, BCA Academy (BCAA) and Temasek Polytechnic (TP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the School of Design, TP. The MOU was signed by the Managing Director of BCA Academy Ar. Leong-Kok Su Ming, and the Director of the School of Design, Ms. Elaine Ho.
This collaboration marks an extension of their successful partnership initiated in 2019 and signifies a shared commitment to nurturing industry-ready talent and driving innovation in the BE industry.
BCA Academy has been at the forefront of aligning educational curricula with the Industry Transformation Map (ITM) and industry demands. Building upon their fruitful collaboration with TP in co-delivering a Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modelling (BIM) Construction & Asset Management since 2019, the institutions are expanding their partnership to foster a more dynamic and comprehensive educational landscape.
Today’s MOU further strengthens the collaborative relationship between Building and Construction Authority and Temasek Polytechnic, focused on developing capabilities in the BE sector through curriculum alignment, staff capability development, research and technology and access to facilities.
