About the Course

Overview

The eligibility for registration of crane operators has always been based on skill and competency. To facilitate the need for training in other crane types, a registered crane operator of a particular crane must attend & pass a bridging course if he intends to operator another type of crane. The list of bridging courses below will prepare existing operators to learn and operate another type of cranes in a shorter time instead of attending the full course. These short courses will also provide relief to the industry/companies who may face shortage of the relevant type of crane operators.

Course Outline

The 3 ½ -day and 5-day bridging courses comprises theory lesson, hands-on practical session and half-day assessment. The topics to be covered are as follows:

  1. Safety requirements and operation for various types of crane
