About the Course

Program Overview

As part of the BuildSG LEAD Milestone Programme designed to collectively shape the industry through our Global Perspectives Programmes for enterprise-level leaders, the Executive Development Programme on Leading Foresight and Innovation in the Built Environment (UK) aims to accelerate industry transformation through in-depth exchanges and discussions with global leaders, BE professionals, technologists, government council as well as academia on the latest trends and developments that are shaping the future of the Built Environment.

Anchored on the theme of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Advanced Manufacturing and Assembly (AMA), the programme focuses on leadership development beyond knowledge in the technical aspects, allowing BE Leaders to develop long term foresight acumen to anticipate and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Conducted in the formats of learning journeys, keynote lectures and executive dialogues, the programme aims to equip BE Leaders with the latest insights and knowledge to formulate strategic plans for IPD and AMA implementation for their organisations, as well as for the sector collectively to drive transformative and sustained growth.

Program Objectives

  • Strengthen global foresight and mindset shift to capture opportunities and growth for collective transformation to shape the future BE sector through an understanding of the latest global trends and directions of the BE sector, learn from the strategic directions of the UK to advance and transform the BE sector and glean best practices from globally leading organisations and advanced projects.
  • Harness the potential of the latest technology innovators to push the boundaries and advance the sector towards an integrated and data-driven Built Environment through an understanding of advanced digitalisation and modularization, productization, automation and AI to overcome workforce challenges and enable better integration between IPD and AMA.
  • Develop business case for the adoption of transformative solutions and collaborative approach to strengthen business resilience and achieve integration of planning, design and construction through an understanding of the business drivers and workforce alignment for IPD and AMA as well as the growing global popularity in the adoption of NEC to drive collaboration.
