Overview

Are you ready to advance your career to the next level?

The SkillsFuture Career Transition Programmes (SCTP) – Built Environment (BE) series are train-and-place programmes specially curated to equip participants with industry-relevant knowledge and skills to thrive in the rapidly evolving built environment sector.

The SCTP-Built Environment series comprises of five programmes with focuses on job roles across the Built Environment value chain. Whether you are a mid-careerist looking to pivot to the Built Environment sector, or practitioners seeking to upskill and explore new niches, you will find a programme that suits your needs.

The five programmes are:

  • SCTP in Digital Delivery (Built Environment)
  • SCTP in Sustainable Design (Built Environment)
  • SCTP in Computational Design (Built Environment)
  • SCTP in Smart and Sustainable Facility Management
  • SCTP in Building Cost Management*
  • SCTP in Integrated Project Management and Delivery (Built Environment)*

7 months – 12.5 months (depends on programme)
BCA Braddell Campus
Classes are conducted on weekday evenings (2 to 3 nights per week), except for Workplace Learning which is conducted on full time basis.
Blend of classroom, online and self-directed learning

Who Should Attend

Individual who are looking for training opportunities to transit to the Built Environment sector or upskill to a new job role within the sector. Unemployed individual who are interested can participate in the programmes.

Entry Requirement
  • Singapore citizens;
  • Singapore Permanent Residents;
  • Holders of LTVP;
  • Completed GCE ‘A’ level OR a recognised Diploma programme
  • Participants should commit to fulfil the programme requirement, including minimum attendance requirements and passing of assessments.

Programme Highlights
  • Industry-relevant coverage: Designed with job roles in mind. Closely aligned with the Skills Framework and Industry Transformation Map for the Built Environment sector.
  • Enhanced employability: At the end of the programme, you will undergo 3-month workplace learning at participating firms. This will further enhance your practical skills while increasing your employability.
  • High funding support: 70%-95% course fee funding for eligible self-sponsored individuals.
  • Flexible modular format: Programmes are offered in modular format to enhance its flexibility.
  • Spread of programmes designed for job roles across BE ITM areas to suit your career aspiration:
    • Integrated Project Delivery: Digital Delivery, Computational Design, Integrated Project Management and Delivery
    • Sustainable Urban System: Sustainable Design, Smart and Sustainable Facility Management
Fee & Funding

Fee (inclusive of 9% GST):

S$10,845.50
Award Of Certification

Upon successful completion of each module, i.e. meeting minimum attendance requirement and passing the assessments within the module, participants will be awarded an e-certificate of Attendance (e-COA). Those who have successfully completed all modules will be issued a full certificate.
